Design and Built Contract for Designing and Furnishing the Senate Chamber of Uva Wellassa University
Contract No: UWU/2017/GOODS/NCB/01

1. The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Uva Wellassa University invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Design, Construction and Completion of Proposed Interior Improvements to Senate Chamber of Senate Building Uva Wellassa University. (Design and Build contract). The contract period is 3 Months.

2. Bids should be submitted on the forms which could be purchased from the office of Senior Assistant Bursar (Supplies), Uva Wellassa University, Passara road, Badulla, between 9.00 am and 3.00pm on working days from 22nd May 2017 up to 09th June 2017 on the submission of the receipt for a non-refundable payment of Rs. 5,000/= to the Shroff of the Uva Wellassa University.

3. The eligible bidders shall comply with the following qualification criteria.
CIDA registration or Business Registration in Building Interior Design or Construction

5. Bidding documents may be inspected free of charge at the office of the Senior Assistant Bursar (Supplies) at Uva Wellassa University.

6. Bid shall be valid up to 30th September 2017

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Rs. 120,000/=which should be in favor of Vice Chancellor – Uva Wellassa University, obtained from a Bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka valid up to 30th October 2017.

8. Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 29th May 2017 at 10.30 am at the Main Board Room of Uva Wellassa University, Passara road, Badulla.

9. Sealed bids shall be deposited in the Tender Box at the office of the Registrar, Uva Wellassa University.

10. The deadline for submission of bids will be 23rd June 2017 and will be opened soon after the closing. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of bids.
