The 4th General Convocation of Uva Wellassa University for 2013 batch of graduates was successfully concluded on July 18, 2014 in a colorful and dignified ceremony. The honours bachelor degrees were conferred to 444 graduates belonging to eleven degree programmes in three Faculties. The convocation was held as two sessions; Session I for the Faculty of Management and Faculty of Science & Technology, and Session II for the Faculty of Animal Science & Export Agriculture.
The convocation was attended by a large number of distinguished guests and invitees. Professor Susirith Mendis (Former Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna, Senior Professor of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University) and Professor Harischandra Abeygunawardene (Former Vice Chancellor, University of
Peradeniya) delivered the Convocation Address in the Session I and Session II, respectively. We wish all graduates very exciting and rewarding careers ahead!
