Post of Temporary Research Assistant

Suitable qualified graduates are invited for a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Temporary Research Assistant.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate should possess a degree in Agriculture or related fields obtained from a recognized University with a First Class or a Second Class Upper Division.
- Working knowledge, skills and experience in research and publication activities will be an added advantage.
Selection Method:
Selection will be made base on the performance at the Walk-in-Interview and the qualifications specified above. The date, time and venue of the interview are as follows;
- Date – February 21, 2024
- Time – 9.00 a.m.
- Venue – Admin Boardroom, Uva Wellassa University

- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certificates of all academic and extracurricular activities (original and copies)
- National Identity Card (NIC)
- Research Publications (if available)
Period of Contract:
The contract period for the above post is one (01) year and it will be renewed for 02 years based on the performance, requirement and other conditions applied at the University.
Remuneration:
The Basic salary of Rs. 49,860.00 will be paid for a month and Cost of Living Allowance of Rs. 12,800.00 per month will be paid as an allowance. You will be required to contribute to the University Provident Fund (UPF) as per the existing regulations.
