Uva Wellassa University proudly marked the official opening of the newly constructed Examination Hall Complex for the Faculty of Medicine on 29 October 2026, ceremonially opened by the Vice Chancellor of Uva Wellassa University, Senior Professor Kolitha B Wijesekara
This modern academic facility represents another significant achievement in strengthening the University’s teaching, learning, and examination infrastructure.

Key Facilities:

• A spacious examination hall with a seating capacity of 315 students, providing a modern and comfortable environment for examinations.
• Two fully equipped lecture halls, each accommodating 100 students, supporting academic activities and multimedia-based teaching.
• A dedicated staff office complex with facilities for 16 academic and administrative staff members.

This important addition to the University’s infrastructure will significantly enhance academic facilities, support the growing student population, and contribute to the continued development of the Faculty of Medicine and the University as a whole.
