The Department of Information and Communication Technology was established by the Hon.Minister of Education by the order of Gazette Extraordinary No 2294/43 issued Thursday, August 25, 2022 as the third Department under the Faculty of Technological Studies. The new Department offers the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology Honours degree program that enrolls 100 students annually. Mr. Chirantha Kithulwatta has been appointed as the Acting Head of the Department.
