Inter University Quiz Competition -2020

Rules and Regulation for the Competition

 General Guidelines

  1. This competition is open for all the Management Faculty students in all the Universities in Sri Lanka.
  2. The key subject area for the competition will be “Entrepreneurship”
  3. This competition consists of three (03) rounds.
  4. Only team entries are eligible, and team shall consist of five persons
  5. There will be one question for each student in each round.
  6. The winning team will be the group which is having the overall highest marks
  7. The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
  8. There will be an additional round if the two teams score the same mark at the end of the competition.
  9. The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments
  10. Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration

Rules for 1st ,2nd and 3rd rounds of the competition

      1. There will be 10 questions for each round and each group member will received one question to answer at a time. Team discussion is not allowed.
      2. There will be only one attempt to provide the correct answer and the correct answer contains 10 marks.
      3. Each participant will receive 30 seconds to answer the question.
      4. If one participant fails to give the correct answer within 30 seconds, another member from the same team will be eligible to provide the answer within 10 seconds.
      5. If that member fails to give the correct answer within 10 seconds. The question will be forwarded to the next team. The opposite team members will be eligible to answer within 10 seconds.

Additional round of the competition – In case of tie between 2 or more teams, further 5 questions would be asked for final selection

      1. The additional round consists of 5 questions and any member from the team will be eligible to answer.
      2. The group will receive 10 marks for each correct answer.
      3. If the answer is incorrect or not-answered, 5 negative marks for wrong answer or not-answered questions.
