Robotics and Arduino

Robotics plays a vital role in the modern era, replacing human effort. However, it may not resemble human beings in appearance or performs functions in a humanlike manner. Arduino is one of the popular open-source programmable microcontrollers which can be used to build projects. Learning Arduino leads to capturing the proper knowledge in robotics. This course is designed for those who are seeking proper guidance. The outline of the course covers Arduino-based sensor programming, controlling, motor controlling and wireless communications. Real-world experience in robotics can be gained through this short course.

This short course will be conducted by the academic staff members of the Mechatronics specializations of the Department of Science and Technology.

How to Apply?

Applications

Application forms and other details can be collected from the CODL office of  the Uva Wellassa University or can be downloaded from www.uwu.lk.

Completed applications

Completed application forms can be handed over to the CODL office or sent by the  registered post to Director, Centre for Open and Distance Learning, Uva Wellassa  University, Passara Road, Badulla, 90000 on or before March 31, 2023.

Application processing Fee

you are hereby requested to pay sum Rs.500/- which is the application processing fee of  to the University Account 010100168384805 of the Peoples’ Bank, Badulla Branch in  favor of Bursar, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka on or before March 31, 2023.

Please mention your name and the name of relevant course in your payment slip and handover  the customer copy of the bank payment receipt to the office of the Centre for Open and Distance  Learning (CODL) of Uva Wellassa University along with duly completed application.
