Post of Temporary Lecturers : Department of English Language Teaching

Department of English Language Teaching invites applications from prospective candidates for the post of Temporary Lecturer in the following subject areas,

Department	: Department of English Language Teaching
Post	: Temporary Lecturers
Subject Areas and Minimum Qualification	English – Candidates Should possess a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in English/TESL with a class obtained from a recognized university. Linguistics – Candidates Should possess a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in English/TESL/Linguistics (English Medium) with a class obtained from a recognized university. Translation and Interpretations – Candidates Should possess a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Translation Studies with a class obtained from a recognized university.

The following documents are required at the interview:

National Identity card
Curriculum Vitae and Reference letters
All relevant academic certificates (originals and copies)
Research Publications (if any)

HOW TO APPLY:

The completed application and supporting documents (PDF) should be submitted via email to delt@uwu.ac.lk on or before 15th October 2026.

The interview will be held on 19th October 2026 (Monday) at Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, Badulla.

Note: Shortlisted Candidates will be called for the interview.
