The project “Namunu Translator”, offline instant English-Sinhala word translator developed by the students from Department of Computer Science and Technology has been awarded a merit under the category of Tertiary Student Project – Technology at National Best quality ICT Awards Night, Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo on 06th, October 2017. This event was organized by the Sri Lankan section of the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT and this has become the initial hand shaking project in Uva wellassa University with NBQSA team. There were many teams from the other universities and our team was represented by following members.
