Program Overview

MPhil is an advanced research degree in academia that involves in-depth study and original research within a specific field of knowledge. An MPhil degree typically involves a significant research component, and it's considered a step between a master's and a PhD.

It allows students to delve deeply into a subject area, conduct original research, and contribute new insights to their field. MPhil programs usually require the completion of a thesis or dissertation based on the research conducted.

Minimum Period of Study

  • Full-time students: Two (02) Years
  • Part-time students: Three (03) years

Maximum Period of Study

  • Full-time students: Four (04) years
  • Part-time students: Five (05) years

2. Four year Bachelor's (Special) Degree

Four year Bachelor's (Special) Degree relevant to the Subject

3. Four year Bachelor's (Joint Major) Degree

Four year Bachelor's (Joint Major) Degree with a class relevant to the Subject

4. Bachelor's (General) Degree + Qualifying Test

Bachelor's (General) Degree relevant to the subject with or without a class and passes the qualifying test given by the relevant BOS

5. Other Qualifications

Any other qualifications acceptable to the Senate
