<p>Tissue culture is an important alternative method for conventional plant propagation methods and provides useful technique for mass production of disease free planting materials. This course has designed to deliver the basic aspects in plant tissue culture a as a technique to multiply the plants. This covers topics on preparation of stock solution and media, aseptic techniques and ex-plant preparation, shoot induction and multiplication, rooting of shoots and plantlet acclimatization. Apart from lectures and demonstrations comprehensive hands-on experience through practical sessions will be delivered.</p>
<p>This 30 hours Certificate Course in Plant Tissue culture will be conducted by the expertise of the Department of Export Agriculture.</p>
