UWU EXPO 2025

As Uva Wellassa University marks its 20th anniversary, I take this opportunity to express my deep appreciation to the entire university community. This milestone reflects two decades of growth, resilience, and our unwavering commitment to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and serving the nation with purpose and integrity.

UWU EXPO 2025, scheduled to be held from July 16th to 19th, is a landmark event organized to commemorate this important occasion. It will serve as a vital platform for education and technology transfer, highlighting the university's research achievements, innovative solutions, and practical contributions developed across our five faculties: Applied Sciences, Animal Science and Export Agriculture, Management Sciences, Technological studies, and Medicine.

This exhibition is designed to facilitate meaningful engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, including students in schools and vocational institutions, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, farmers, and the general public. It reflects our commitment to bridging academia with society, and to sharing knowledge that creates real-world impact.

I extend my sincere thanks to the academic and non-academic staff, and to our students, for their commitment and enthusiasm in preparing for this important event. I am confident that UWU EXPO 2025 will stand as a proud testament to the university's progress and collective effort.
