About COLLNET 2026

The COLLNET (Collaboration in Science Research Network) is an international scholarly network dedicated to advancing research in scientometrics, bibliometrics, webometrics, science policy, library science, information management, and the broader science of science. COLLNET promotes global collaboration among researchers, information scientists, and policymakers, with a focus on research evaluation, scholarly communication, and the dynamics of scientific collaboration.

A major academic activity of COLLNET is the International Conference on Webometrics, Informetrics and Scientometrics (WIS), a well-established international conference series that serves as a leading forum for theoretical, methodological, and applied research in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of science, technology, and innovation.

COLLNET 2026, incorporating WIS 2026, marks the 20th International Conference of the series and is organized by the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, Badulla, Sri Lanka. The conference will bring together international and regional scholars to share research findings, exchange ideas, and strengthen global research collaborations. The program will feature keynote speeches, invited talks, peer-reviewed paper presentations, panel discussions, and publication opportunities through conference proceedings and selected journals.

As the organizing institution, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka is committed to providing an inclusive and intellectually engaging platform that supports high-quality scholarly communication and advances research evaluation and science policy discourse at national, regional, and global levels.
