The President’s Awards Ceremony for Scientific Publications in Science Citation Index Expanded journals with a Sri Lankan institutional affiliation, for the research published in 2015 was held on 06th November 2017, at Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo, graced by his Excellency the President of Sri Lanka and the Hon. State Minister of Science, Technology and Research. Among the recipients of these prestigious awards were Prof. Dinesh Jayasena from the Department of Animal Science, Dr. Saman Herath from the Department of Export Agriculture and Dr. Pamoda Ratnaweera from the Department of Science and Technology of Uva Wellassa University. They have displayed their excellence in conducting scientific research through such achievements. We congratulate them for the prestige they have brought to our university through displaying such achievements and wish them all the best for their future endeavors undertaken in scientific research.
